Ok, I have to admit that apple has very creative inovation. I’m kinda amazed when I read my feed reader and read about of the latest one which is the magic mouse. Actually it doesn’t have any new technology adoption but the concept is unique, combining mouse and mac touchpad. So we can do any multitouch gesture on the mouse. Need to scroll ?? doesn’t need any scroll wheel again, just simulate what you do with scroll wheel but without scrool wheel. Kind of funny but it’s real :) Not also scrolling but you can use the multitouch gesture on mac touchpad on the magic mouse. More explanation and video can be seen in here.

The other updates from apple today is the new unibody macbook, not alumunium unibody macbook pro but just macbook (the lowest at it’s class) using the unibody concept and not using alumunium but only polycarbonate. The unibody macbook now offer 7 hours battery life, and the battery is not “user replaceable” like the old ones. ifixit has bought it and tear it down part per part of this new unibody macbook (OMG, how fast they have it T_T ).

engadget also release a video showing the new Unibody Macbook, Magic Mouse, and iMac.

Just now I read my rss reader and got some interesting news on engadget about the latest palm device. Previously I only knew that palm will released their new generation handheld (i.e. palm pre) which is using the webOS, but there’s another one that will be released with the new palm webOS. It’s name is palm Eos. Well, it’s gonna be another eos in my wish list after Canon EOS DSLR :D

ps: rumor said that palm pre will release in 6th June 2009 but unfortunately not an unlocked version.

Just come back to daily routine after last 4 days from IGOS Summit. I arrive yesterday afternoon from Jakarta using Taksaka. It’s a great summit where many people there searching information about open source and some company also searching support for their migration.

In that summit I met many famous people such as M. Nuh (Minister of Communication and Information), Kusmayanto Kadiman (Minister of Research and Technology), Rusmanto, Onno W. Purbo and also famous blogger such as Yan Arief, Rendy Maulana, Vavai, Harry Sufehmi, and Andi Darmawan (belutz).

I was standby on my office cubicle :p but I also attend the seminar. Knowing that many high school student also interested in open source also make me get more spirit  . I try to write my journey on the IGOS summit in this short time. Hope that there’s another open source event like this again this year (at least ILC 2008).

Yup, 3 mei adalah shutdown day dengan tagnya “Can you survive for 24 hours without your computer ?”. Jawabnya, “Yes, I can”. Tanggal 3 mei kan hari sabtu dan setiap sabtu pasti kerjaan saya adalah molor (a.k.a tidur) dan nongton tv atau kadang jalan-jalan ke kampung. So what gitu loh
