Ok, I have to admit that apple has very creative inovation. I’m kinda amazed when I read my feed reader and read about of the latest one which is the magic mouse. Actually it doesn’t have any new technology adoption but the concept is unique, combining mouse and mac touchpad. So we can do any multitouch gesture on the mouse. Need to scroll ?? doesn’t need any scroll wheel again, just simulate what you do with scroll wheel but without scrool wheel. Kind of funny but it’s real Not also scrolling but you can use the multitouch gesture on mac touchpad on the magic mouse. More explanation and video can be seen in here.

The other updates from apple today is the new unibody macbook, not alumunium unibody macbook pro but just macbook (the lowest at it’s class) using the unibody concept and not using alumunium but only polycarbonate. The unibody macbook now offer 7 hours battery life, and the battery is not “user replaceable” like the old ones. ifixit has bought it and tear it down part per part of this new unibody macbook (OMG, how fast they have it T_T ).

engadget also release a video showing the new Unibody Macbook, Magic Mouse, and iMac.

Just now I read my rss reader and got some interesting news on engadget about the latest palm device. Previously I only knew that palm will released their new generation handheld (i.e. palm pre) which is using the webOS, but there’s another one that will be released with the new palm webOS. It’s name is palm Eos. Well, it’s gonna be another eos in my wish list after Canon EOS DSLR

ps: rumor said that palm pre will release in 6th June 2009 but unfortunately not an unlocked version.

It’s kinda surprising me that flickr now allowed me to upload a video even I’m not a pro. I just realized it when I check my flickr for any comment to my picture (sadly there isn’t any ).

Well it’s not all you can upload video, it still has limitation such as video length (which only 90 seconds length) and video filesize (which only 150MB).

Sebetulnya ini berita basbang banget tapi tetap menarik bagi saya untuk dijadikan sebuah topik. Beritanya tentang sebuah foto di flickr seseorang yang digunakan oleh sebuah perusahaan kapitalis telekomunikasi untuk media iklannya. Hebatnya, si empunya foto tidak diberitahu terlebih dahulu atas pemuatan fotonya tetapi si pembuat iklan masih sempat membuang logo adidas yang terdapat di foto itu. Dan di iklan tersebut tetep ada link menuju ke pembuat foto. Nah, terlihat bagaimana di luar sane penghargaan atas hak cipta dan penggunaannya merupakan hal yang sensitif. Bagaimana di Indonesia ?? tanyakan saja pada rumput yang bergoyang

Mungkin ini salah satu produk google yang melepas status betanya, sama seperti beberapa kawan saya yang akhir-akhir ini banyak yang melepas status lajangnya dan bahkan ada yang sudah menjadi bapak (maspak ini dan maspak ini). Kalau anda pengguna setia gmail pasti tahu bahwa gmail yang sudah sebagus itu saja masih tidak mau melepas “beta”nya.

Google chrome, sebagai pemain baru di dunia browser memang menawarkan konsep yang menarik, khususnya tentang penggunaan memori dan browser proses dan juga secara UI (User Interface bukan Universitas Indonesia) mirip dengan opera. Selain itu google chrome juga lah yang sempat memberi pencerahan kepada saya bahwa sesuatu yang teknis itu dapat dijabarkan dengan bahasa yang sangat mudah dipahami lewat komik google chromenya. Walaupun belum ada rilis versi selain windows tapi jangan khawatir google pasti akan merilisnya ke sistem operasi seperti picasa.

Ada yang tahu apa yang terjadi ketika malam 2 Desember kemarin ?? Sebuah fenomena terjadi Selasa kemarin. Bulan, Jupiter, dan Venus berada pada formasi segitiga. Uniknya karena bulan pada saat itu masih berada pada fase sabit sehingga kalau dilihat bentuknya mirip dengan orang yang tersenyum. Monggo dinikmati hasil foto buru-buru dari fotografer amatiran.
