The objectives is that I want to make picture from a movie I play. Instead of using Alt+printscreen while playing the movie, I prefer capture it using some option while playing it using mplayer.

mplayer -vf screenshot

That is the option I used, to capture a frame press ’s’ and to play it frame-per-frame press ‘.’
